This book was adorable. We follow Jordan who is a bookaholic and runs a book club which focuses on romance books.
Rex has inherited a house from his Grandma who has recently passed away. He’s in the city to renovate it and flip it. While he does this, he decides to take up a job at the local bookstore where he meets Jordan.
I am here to say I stan Jordan. Jordan is so cuteeee.
I feel like I’m Jordan in so many regards but I cannot lie to you and say that Rex is not bae.
So yes, this is a romance and is kinda typical. BUT, and a mahoosive but, the get-together, the bants and the eventual break up in this book were written sooooo well.
Also this book was so hot omg. I definitely started reading it at like 10 pm and didn’t put it down until I had read and re-read the juicy parts.
This book had me laughing out loud and it was pure serotonin, 5 out of 5. Up there with Talia Hibbert in my opinion.
Definitely pick it up if you’re in a reading rut!
